'Adda work' - embroidery is one of the finest crafts from earliest times to the present day. 'Tussar silk' - is also referred to as kosa silk'. It is a type of wild silk produced by silkworms that eat plants such as asan and arjun. It is well-known and recognised for its natural golden colour. It has a strong and crisp texture. Bhagalpur is India's primary tussar producer state.
